Con la apertura del Parlamento Abierto en el Congreso de la Unión, desde la Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (Coparmex) en el estado se confió en que se respetará la voz de los expertos y se harán las modificaciones que emanen, siempre en beneficio de los consumidores, respecto a la Reforma Eléctrica.
El presidente de la Coparmex Querétaro, Jorge Camacho Ortega, aseveró que la reforma es un retroceso si, no se privilegia la facultad de los consumidores a decidir, el impulso de energías limpias y la libre competencia.
“Consideramos como irreductibles al menos tres aspectos que deben de suprimirse de la iniciativa enviada por el Ejecutivo que resultan totalmente nocivas: la eliminación de la libertad de elegir de los consumidores, la eliminación de la competencia, las afectaciones ambientales y en las finanzas públicas. Confiamos que este Parlamento Abierto impulse lo que necesitamos como nación”.
El organismo empresarial se mostró en contra de la limitación a la participación privada y cancelación de los contratos existentes, pues se eliminaría de tajo la competitividad; pues se dará paso a que sea la Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) quien buscará regular a sus competidores.
Respecto a la energía limpia, el órgano empresarial aseveró que de aprobarse el proyecto de ley, México sería la vergüenza internacional al ser un país que atenta contra el Acuerdo de París, que es un tratado mundial para combatir el cambio climático y las emisiones de carbono.
“Prácticamente todas las voces de expertos, académicos, consumidores, generadores e incluso opiniones internacionales advierten que esta es una reforma nociva. Desde Coparmex consideramos que si el país requiere una reforma esta debe de ser para acelerar los grandes pasos dados desde el año 2013, garantizar que más energía en el país se genere desde fuentes limpias y renovables para que haya mayor abasto, oferte y así paguemos menos”.
